Continuing a Legacy of Faith, Care, and Community
Empowering Kenya's Vulnerable Youth Through Sanctuary and Education
In Loving Memory Pastor Evans Buri

Our History: A Legacy of Love and Faith
Rianyabwari Orphanage was founded in 2017 by the late Pastor Evans Buri. Driven by compassion and faith, Pastor Evans opened his heart and home to care for 12 vulnerable children in our community. Alongside the local church, the orphanage provided these children with essential care, safety, and hope for a better future.
In 2019, tragedy struck our community when Pastor Evans tragically passed away in a hit-and-run accident. Following his passing, his son, Pastor Lameck Buri, stepped forward to honor his father’s vision and keep the sanctuary open for the children.
After being ordained, Pastor Lameck took on full leadership of both the church and the orphanage, answering the call to serve and expand their ministry.
